DISCLAIMERS

1.  OT/MP IS NOT ADVICE:  OT/MP must be treated as a compilation of options designed to support your insight and decision making in terms of your personal needs and contemporary issues.   Only you have the power to inform yourself.
Therefore,  OT/MP should be accepted as a thoughtful collection of opinions, not advice or council.

While the author may have opinions on everything, he offers advice on nothing.  You are responsible for extracting from OT/MP all concepts, ideas, and strategies that you find are relevant, useful, and helpful for you.  The author cannot know what those will be for you, nor for any Pilgrim who visits the site, nor the context in which you and others will implement OT/MP's concepts.  Therefore the author is not and cannot be responsible for how you interpret and apply this material.

2.  COPYRIGHT DISCLAIMER
This site uses quotes and citations under the "fair use"  doctrine (e.g., in support of criticism and commentary) as permitted in traditional publishing, which includes attribution to my source, and where possible, a link to the source site.  Copyright owners who object to my use of their material under fair use guidelines should notify me in writing of their objection and their reason.

While I expect cooperation from most publishers and authors,  some large firms could issue a blanket refusal, or place such economic demands or editorial constraints as to effectively prohibit me from using their material. These kinds of demand and constraints  is consistent with my claims of corporate abuse in OT/MP and is testimony to one important abuse of power by large corporations.

Should such refusal occur, the deleted material will be replaced by a paraphrase. A reference will be made to the refusing publisher with an accompanying statement explaining how this is a violation of "fair use" doctrine, and is a restraint of intellectual freedoms, both mine, the author I would site, and on your right to know.

Where it occurs, this type of corporate abuse constitutes a real cost to you the reader, to the authorities I would cite, and to our society. Such restrictive practices are not acceptable in a Democracy. To the extent censorship by denial of such quotations is present, it is one important indicator of the growing threats to our freedoms.   When corporations act to control the dissemination of information by use of economic and/or legal coercion, such denials illustrate the dangers that arise from abuses of corporate power getting out of control as documented in this e-book.  [Reference]

3.  RELIGION:  OT/MP holds that religion can and should be a crucial and positive element in nurturing the Spiritual growth and development of its adherents.   The positive value toward religion general should not be confused with the perversion of religion that OT/MP has defined as "religionist." [see definition]

4.  CAPITALISM:  OT/MP is not taking  a stand against capitalism, nor for that matter does a it take a position against communism or socialism.  However, OT/MP does take a strong stand against predatory capitalism, and the corruptions of power that also afflict classical communism and socialism.

5.  ABORTION: OT/MP neither advocates for nor condemns abortion as an option for any given person.  OT/MP does affirm the right and responsibility for every woman to choose or not choose abortion in her particular case for the following reasons.  The current debate on abortion is a religion grounded debate, based on the belief structure of a Christian religious perspective, in particular fundamentalist and Catholic Christianity.  The Christian position is formed on their definition of life, and when life begins.  However, while human life begins can be identified scientifically by accepting that point of conception where sperm and ovum are united, it is by no means clear when the Soul actually occupies the living body.

The point at which human life begins, i.e., when the Soul occupies the body, is a matter of personal belief. This belief ranges from a position which holds that a human life begins at the moment a fetus is conceived, to as long as a week after birth.  Therefore, no person or group can, nor should they, have a right to define for others that point where human life begins according to their own criteria,  nor should they be permitted to create civil or criminal law based on their unique understanding and view so as to force others to obey such laws.

The decision on abortion should involve only the mother, and the father, in the presence of competent medical advice and Spiritual guidance, to be the sole determiners of the decision.   The father is included because a man is dependent upon woman to give birth to his child, and his right to parenthood should be treated equally with that of the mother.  The decision on abortion must be a Spiritual (not religious) grounded decision. Therefore, such a decision is far more complex that can be addressed in this summary.  Additional details are found in Dialogue 6, as influenced by the dynamics of Karma and Reincarnation.

6.  LAWYERS:  the law ought be one of the most important and valuable contributions to the Spiritual health of  humanity.  On one hand, OT/MP holds that "the law" is the single most important potential for creating a fair and just society, one grounded in Spiritual (not religious) Principle.  On the other hand,  for the reasons given, OT/MP holds the current state of art in the practice of law in contempt.  "The law"  ought be the routine source of simple justice, creating social stability, and promoting trust and respect among those who find themselves in dispute. "The law" should be a valid and powerful  mirror of THE LAW.  But today, it is perverted by the human ego's ultimate obsession with power and control by those who create and own the law, its lawyers and judges.  Thus lawyers struggle in ego managed power and control contest that define bitter win-lose contests. In these struggles, except for those who feed at the trough of the law, all parties to the litigation are harmed, regardless of the outcome.  The likelihood of justice in our courts today exists in direct proportion to one's ability to pay for it.  It is a consummate evil, a festering lesion on the face of humanity.

7.  SCOPE VS SPECIALIZATION: The author does not pretend to have the current state of art or in depth information about any of a dozen specialty areas that are brought together as the Mystical Paradigm.   Accordingly, he asks not to be judged as a specialist in any area in which you may have such credentials.  Instead, the Mystical Paradigm should be understood to be a Holistic Paradigm, that integrates and applies ideas and concepts from science (e.g. consciousness studies, General Systems Theory) and Metaphysics (the study of Reality and Spirituality.)

The MP applies these insights to a critical analysis of contemporary issues in politics, economics, government, and journalism among other areas of professional specialization.  The author has prepared the Mystical Paradigm to empower each specialist in their area to more effectively relate their area to the larger dynamic Reality that has created today's real world of experience.  The author expects that students being prepared to work in any specialty area will be empowered to more effectively function in their area once they understand the Principles that define the Mystical Paradigm.

8.  EDITING & GRAPHICS: the author is unable to afford the costs of editing.  Therefore, he is left to release this project with regrets that  the improvements afforded by competent editing are not available.  Likewise, all of the graphics not attributed to others are the work of the author who is not a professional graphics designer.  While some graphics may lack a professional touch, the author believes all graphics used are quite serviceable.  To find out how you can help overcome these shortcomings, please visit the "How You Can Help" section.
