WANTED: Bullyish Frat Boy President Seeks Pity,
Sympathy My post @2:09 pm
The
following was originally posted in its entirety in August
2006.
Since it is still relevant, here it is again but in the required three
parts due to the new Procrustean 250 word limit.
BET BUSH WAS A “WHITE
KNUCKLE” PILOT -Part 1 of 3 CENSOREDIn
my former life as a flight instructor, I had the interesting experience
of flying with several students I came to call a “white
knuckles” pilot. One example was a
student so ham
fisted, he appeared to be at war with the airplane. Right
away he
kept asking if he was ready to solo, which is normally between 15 and
20 hours. I told him the criteria was when a loved
one of
mine could safely fly with him. But I told him if he made
love to
a woman the way he manhandled the airplane, not only would he never
marry, he would never get sex more than once with the same woman.
Another
sad example was a young rich kid who flew with fear etched in
every move. A we approached about 20 hours and nowhere near a
solo, I took him for a “last chance”
ride. We
had the airplane in the pattern at the airport, and I told him that he
was totally in charge, that I had “bailed out,”and
it was
up to him to land the airplane. We were on the downwind leg
(parallel
BET BUSH WAS A “WHITE
KNUCKLE” PILOT -Part 2 of 3 CENSORED with
the runway) and he was to begin his decent opposite the end of runway
compass numbers, and then after a quarter mile continuing the downwind
leg, he was to turn left on to base leg at right angles to the approach
path. Then he was to turn left on to final approach, all the
while steadily descending until he was at the touchdown point on the
runway just past the numbers.
As
we made an ugly
left turn onto base leg after extending too far on the downwind leg,
the plane was descending too fast. Then he overshot
the
turn onto final approach, still descending such that the runway slowly
disappeared behind a row of small trees about one mile out from the end
of the runway. He still took no action. The tower
called
and asked , “Is there a flight instructor aboard that
plane?” I leaned over and looked into his glazed over
eyes. His face was ashen, his knuckles
white. There was nobody home.
When he even
failed to add power at my command, I took over and landed the
airplane.
In my chats with
these white knuckle
folks I learned that they did not approach flying for the love of it,
nor for the challenge of it, nor for the Zen experience of
it.
The approached flying to prove their manhood, to impress mommy, poppy,
or some female. WRONG REASONS!!
BET BUSH WAS A “WHITE
KNUCKLE” PILOT -Part 3 of
3 POSTEDNo
natural pilot would avoid flying for any reason. The limits
imposed by flying in the national guard would be experienced as a
restraint. They need to fly. They love
it. They live
it. So I put George W. Bush in the “white
knuckles” category, TRYING TO FLY A LIE.
At
least he escaped with his life and didn’t harm any person who
had
to trust in his REAL skills. To give him his due, he
certainly
did somehow manage to marry a decent woman. Perhaps wealth
trumps
everything else. The rest of G W’s life
is living a
series of lies, as his record along his life’s path so
clearly
shows.
We need to release the
lie values of this
administration and the corporatist right who elected them because
everything about them is a lie, and the evidence of the price we are
paying is everywhere around us. God save America
from the
right wing imbeciles who believe in these lies, cannot see the evil
being spawned from them, and who have thus brought us the ruin of this
tragedy of America today. Pray that the electorate has
learned
the bitter lesson and can recognize the courageous Spirituality of
Barack Obama.
NOTE:
the censored Parts one and two deny the reader the important context to
make sense of Part 3. I routinely find multi part postings
published by others.[End of

REMOVED AFTER BEING
POSTED / i.e., CENSOREDI
have had more than a dozen of my posts CENSORED by HuffPost censors,
and they are CENSORS because as you observed, they don't behave like
moderators. None of my posts violated HuffPost' s published policy in
any way, not even close. But there appears to be unpublished
criteria that have to do with protecting corporate interests.
Most of my CENSORED posts had in common that they were critical of
corporations or corporate interests or apologists. None of my
dozen plus complaints to HuffPost, including four surface
letters, were even acknowledged, let alone responded
to. However, another explanation is that
this may be
the act of one or a few improperly supervised individuals who are
getting off on a personal power trip by enforcing their own values on
HuffPost clients. I have been building a file of
this abuse
for future use. If this post is CENSORED I will just add it
to my
growing file.

wrote: “It's Mayhill Fowler, who had been in Pennsylvania

Obama...and hearing something that didn't sound right to

operable
phrase. Here are alternative interpretations:
(1)
To turn to religion when under unmanageable stress is NOT bad, its
healthy.
(2)
To turn to guns and hunting when under stress due to helplessness
imposed by others is NOT bad, because of the general knowledge that
guns, hunting and outdoor activity are experienced as
empowering.
Therefore to turn to them after being made helpless is a healthy
response.
(3) The tendency to blame "scapegoats" when one's
trust
and needs are betrayed, in this case, by both corporations and
government, is well established by the sciences of psychology and
sociology. This is a HUMAN dynamic, not a Pennsylvania
dynamic. A simple observation.
As a
resident of
Johnstown in the heart of Pennsylvania’s “rust
belt,”
I testify to the scale of frustration, betrayal, heartbreak, and yes
“bitterness” that still lingers three decades after
steel
began the relentless sacrifice of local businesses of every kind on the
alter of corporate greed. Show me the number of
Pennsylvanians
who buy into Fowler’s ridiculous faux issue and I will show
you
the number of knaves and fools in Pennsylvania. God help us
if
there are enough of those to elect Clinton on April 22 so as to turn
the election and our nation entirely over to the corporations.
Shame
on Fowler, shame on you, and shame on Huffington Post.

My post@7:18 pm CENSORED"It
was a deliberate strategy to create what many are calling an "Archie
Bunker" divide in the Democratic primary. Even more incredibly, the
American media followed right along."
There is
nothing
incredible about this. It is an artifact of out of control
corporate power. What does it take to wake up our pundits,
let
alone mainstream America? Corporations will not let any
politician get elected who has the knowledge, ability, experience and
determination to expose corporate America for what they are, ruthless,
predatory and unprincipled power and greed mongers.
Any
politician who can survive the Mainstream Media blackouts that
suffocated John Edwards, and is now working on Obama. If they
fail at the usual unprincipled attacks that we are seeing now, then
there are more extreme measures, such as the elimination of liberal
senators Mel Carnahan and Paul Wellstone that I firmly believe were
murders by airplane. If this claim is too difficult to
accept,
just think of John and Robert Kennedy.
[NOTE:
Apparently my attack on corporate power, and the suggestion that the
noted deaths of liberal candidates were murders is not acceptable to
HuffPost. But here is my researched
defense for my
assassination conclusion as posted on my own
site's "NOTES" page that could not be
posted on HuffPost. By denying this information to their
readers,
HuffPost contributes to the dumbing down of our electorate, because if
Barack Obama is nominated as a candidate for President, and especially
if elected, then his assassination is highly likely for the reasons
explained
in my note.]http://www.ot-mp.net/notes.html#NOTE:%2010-19-2004%20AUTHOR%20E-MAIL
